FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What type of items do you paint?

We paint mostly plastic, metal, and MDF-based items for residential and commercial use. Browse our photo gallery to view some of the work we have completed. Feel free to contact our office to discuss and quote your upcoming project.

What type of paint do you use?

We use urethane, acrylic, enamel, polane, epoxy, and water-based paints.

What type of finishes do you apply?

We apply glossy, matte, textured, including single stage, base coat, as well as clear coat finishes.

What type of paint refinishing process do you use?

We primarily spray paint refinish all items received for painting in a controlled environment inside a large spray booth. We use a professional quality spray gun with a low V.O.C. (volatile organic compound) which is friendly to the environment. Painters also wear protective clothing and a breathing apparatus.

Can any color be matched?

Yes, all colors can be matched. We require a 3″ x 5″ color chip or a pantone number so that we can match the color perfectly. Consideration must also be given to the degree of gloss and flatness of paint as this can affect the overall appearance.

How durable are your coatings?

All paints used are highly durable. Our skilled painters consider the object to be painted and its usage when selecting the most durable paint for your project.

Do you come to the customer’s site to paint?

Since we spray all our items, we require an enclosed and well-ventilated area to paint. This can not be effectively done at a customer’s site.

How long does it take to complete a project?

This depends on the project. Small items may take 2 to 3 days, and larger projects 7 days.

Do you use automation with your painting?

Our painters take pride in completing your project in meticulous detail and perform both restoration work and paint refinishing by hand. All work is completed in our staging area and large cross ventilated commercial paint booth.

Do you perform services for residential and commercial customers?

Yes, we restore and paint products for both residential and commercial customers.

Do you paint cars and trucks?

We paint individual automobile parts such as fenders, doors, scoops, wings, and bumper covers. These parts must be removed from the vehicle and brought to our paint facility to be painted.

Why would anyone consider having a telephone painted?

Telephones typically endure daily wear and are expensive to replace. We disassemble telephones, repaint individual parts, reassemble, and test the telephone. The process saves money as well as imitates the resemblance of a brand new telephone. Phones can be painted their original color, a different color, or a blend of colors depending on the intent of its use. Examples include emergency red phones, army decor, university logo and color, to name a few.

Why emphasize “going green”?

Often components we paint are in working condition but are cosmetically challenged. Painting extends the usable lifetime of the product, preserves our landfills, and in most instances, saves you money.
